Ever drive by Fire Station Quequechan No. 1, otherwise known as Little Theatre’s “Firebarn,” and wonder what it’s like inside? Ever wonder what’s behind those black curtains? Ever wonder where they keep all that stuff?
As part of Little Theatre of Fall River Inc.'s 75th anniversary celebration, it is hosting an open house at the Firebarn, corner of Highland Avenue and Prospect Street in Fall River. Join them for tours and refreshments.
The event will feature a concert by the Swansea Community Musicians under the direction of William Brown, selections from American musical theater from noon to 1 p.m., and a special presentation of "Golda’s Balcony," a one-woman play performed by Linda Monchik at 2 p.m. about the life of Golda Meir, fourth Prime Minister of Israel.
