Music will be provided by the Harmony/Grace Band from First Baptist Church in Swansea; No Spare Parts, a bluegrass/gospel group from Rhode Island; and the Rockin’ Revs, a group formed by pastors from Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Music will range from pop and folk, blues and bluegrass to classic rock tunes everyone is invited to dance to.
Free-will donations will be taken at the door and will benefit Haiti earthquake relief efforts through One Great Hour of Sharing, American Baptist Churches, and a United States of America denominational offering.
Tax credits may be arranged with the treasurer of each church. Information will be shared at the event about ongoing Haiti earthquake relief efforts. Ken Scarborough of Somerset Baptist Church will share his experiences working with congregations in Haiti.
The event is sponsored by a coalition of area Old Colony Baptist Association congregations: First Baptist Church in Swansea, First Baptist Church in Fall River, Hornbine Baptist Church in Rehoboth and Somerset Baptist Church in Somerset.

Fundraiser for Haiti

The First Baptist Church in Swansea, located at 21 Baptist St. (corner of Route 6), will host a concert fundraiser for Haiti disaster relief on Saturday, Feb. 6, at First Baptist Church in Fall River, 210 N. Main St.
